Breaux Bridge - Services are pending at LifeBuilder Church for Verna Mae Arceneaux, 74, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes.
Verna was born on April 17, 1949, in Abbeville. Her presence radiated warmth and kindness that touched the hearts of all who crossed her path. Throughout her life, Verna found solace in her faith and took joy in sharing it with others. Her love for Jesus was at the core of everything she did, shaping her actions and influencing the lives she touched.
One of Verna's greatest passions was gardening. She had a green thumb like no other, creating breathtaking landscapes that reflected the beauty she saw in the world around her.

Her two sons and grandsons were the light of her life, bringing immeasurable joy to her days. She cherished every moment spent with them and surrounded them with warmth and affection.
Verna had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. The simple pleasures of feeling the sun on her face, taking in the fragrance of blooming flowers, or going for long walks in nature brought her immense joy. It was during these moments that she felt closest to God, finding peace and solace in the beauty of creation.
