Veva Guidry Trosclair

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2006, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Veva Guidry Trosclair, 75, who died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. The readers will be Monica Barker and Shawne Taylor; gift bearers will be Crystal Navaira, Rachael Huval, and Rebecca Poole. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Survivors include her husband, James Trosclair; and her daughter, Peggy Decou, both of St. Martinville. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis ""Tewee"" Guidry, Jr.; her mother, Lillie Calais Guidry; her sister, Velma Broussard; and her brother, Wilson Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pallbearers will be Rickey Huval, Jr., Ryan Huval, Ross Huval, Rene' Huval, Kevin Barker and Marty Theriot. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
