Vickie Dean Hipp Breaux

New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Vickie Hipp Breaux, 72, who passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery, in Jeanerette. Mr. Rodney Hipp will officiate. Born on July 4, 1937 Mrs. Breaux enjoyed camping and cross stitching. She will be dearly missed. Survivors include her husband, Harris Breaux; sons; Steven Breaux and wife Leanne, Troy Breaux and wife Michelle all of New Iberia; daughter, Darilyn "Dee" Witten and husband Stephen of New Iberia; brothers, James Hipp and wife Marilyn of New Iberia, Rodney Hipp and wife Jane of Brandon, MS, William "Bill" Hipp and wife Fran of Grandbury, TX; grandchildren, Chuck McGrew and wife Melinda of Carencro, USAF Staff Sgt. Ryan Breaux of Spain, Jene' Breaux of New Iberia, Brandi Forrester of New Iberia, Shelly Lucas and husband Tim of Pensacola, Florida, Codi Noel Jeansonne of New Iberia, Chance Breaux of New Iberia; great grandchildren, Angela McGrew, Brandon McGrew, Cole Forrester, Kaitlyn Forrester, Timothy Lucas, II, Stephen Lucas, and Melissa LeBlanc. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell Edward Hipp and Goldie Coles Hipp; and her in-laws, Lesson and Odette Jolet Breaux. Pallbearers will be Steven Breaux, Stephen Witten, Troy Breaux, Chuck McGrew, Ryan Breaux, and Tim Lucas. Honorary pallbearers include James Hipp, Rodney Hipp, Bill Hipp, Darren Hipp, Bob Ray Broussard, and Sonny Jolet. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of ICU and the 2nd floor at Iberia Medical Center, and to the staff of Hospice of Acadiana for their extraordinary care and compassion. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
