Vincent R. Lormand

With sadness in our hearts, our loving brother Vincent "Big V" R. Lormand gained his wings to heaven. We have solace in knowing he's in a better place. Arnaudville - Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021 for Vincent R. Lormand, 64, who passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.The family requests visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Arnaudville from 10:00 am until the time of service on Thursday. Father Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Vincent was a dedicated employee of Tidewater Marine and Crowley Towing for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. Vincent was a loving father, brother, and son, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sons, Newton Pittman and Jansen Ray Lormand; sisters, Linda Shannon, Tammy Adams (Gerard), Vicki Plaisted, and Michelle Bowers; step-mother, Sylvia Lormand; 11 step-siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Lormand; mother, Francis "Nancy" LeBlanc; brother-in-law, Robert Plaisted; step-father, Lawrence LeBlanc; and 4 step-siblings.
