Charles Langlois will be the Celebrant. Born on September 29, 1947 in New Iberia, Virgin Mary enjoyed life, playing bingo, and going to the casino. ; Survivors include her daughters, Lelia Marie Deslatte and fianc Jude Broussard, Angelique Hulin and companion Chantel Landry, Monique Deslatte and fianc Craig Maturin all of New Iberia; son, Bobby Deslatte and fianc Paulette Pepper of New Iberia; brothers, Sidney Guilbeaux, Fils Guilbeaux, Paul Guilbeaux all of New Iberia; sister, Lillian Dugas of Grand Coteau; best friend, Theresa Feqouia of New Iberia; 9 grandchildren, Hope Deslatte, Trey Deslatte, Lexi Deslatte, Kelsey Eckelberger, Kaylan Longee, Gage Maturin, Nick Maturin, Brittany Maturin, Seth Maturin, Kolby Broussard, Maci Peltier, Jaci "Tootie" Peltier, Brandon Landry, and Jared Landry. ; She was preceded in death by her parents, Adelbert and Lelia Bourque Landry; husband, Peter Rogers Deslatte; brothers, Emile Guilbeaux, Henry Guilbeaux; sister, Electa Granger. ; Pallbearers will be Robert Deslatte, Craig Maturin, Angelique Hulin, Greg Johnson, Deuce Romero, and Kolby Broussard. ; Honorary Pallbearers include Gage Maturin, Jared Landry, Brandon Landry, and Trey Deslatte. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
