Vivian Knott Pelafigue

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.Saturday, August 18, 2007, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Vivian Knott Pelafigue, 98, who died on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at J. Michael Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery, in Arnaudville. The Rev. Fr. Keenan Brown, pastor of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oleus and Edia Meche Knott; her husband, Elie Pelafigue; her daughter, Nola Mae Hebert; two brothers, Darius and Ashton Knott; and five sisters, Beulah Knott, Esther Taylor, Cora Zeringue, Thelma Richard, and Lillian Olivier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Carl Hebert, Leo Lejeune, Tommy Hebert, Kenneth Olivier, Neal Olivier, and Michael Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Hebert, Sy Lejeune, and Al Hebert. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
