Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Vivian Peal Potts, 85, who passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Maison de Lafayette.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday.
Pastor Andrew Fridelle will officiate at the Funeral Ceremony.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Vivian was a faithful member of Church of Christ where she honored her faith and love for Christ. She and her husband, Dalton, also belonged to the Crawfish Campers Association in Breaux Bridge where they gathered with friends on weekends. Vivian served as the secretary for the Veterans Administration Organization in Breaux Bridge for a number of years and dedicated many hours of her time to them. Vivian enjoyed cooking, embroidering, crocheting, sewing for and families and friends, and gardening. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving son, Dennis Potts and wife Michelle of Atlanta, GA.; daughters, Sharon Hernandez and husband Salvador of Monroe, Carol Granger of Breaux Bridge, and Deborah Guidry of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Zack Dunda, Salvador Hernandez, Andrea Hernandez, Jeremy Granger, Shane Guidry, Karen Guidry Dupont, Ryan Guidry, and Jamie Guidry; great grandchildren, Lucy Hernandez, Sean Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Jason Hernandez, Sharon Ireland Hernandez, Kelsey Granger, Brittany Guidry, Darian Romero, Kaitlyn Guidry, Dru Dupont, Ella Dupont, Charli Dupont, Grayson Guidry, Johnnie Kate Guidry, and Donnie St. Amant; a great-great grandchild, Colton St. Amant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Floyd Potts; father, William Lawrence Peal; mother, Ruby Annabet Pool Peal; a son, Timothy Michael Potts; brothers, Oreal Peal, Aubrey Peal, and Junior Peal, sisters, Virginia Avery, Mallie Earnheart, Agnes Peal, and Lillian Loden; and her sons-in-law, Kerney Granger and Clyde Guidry.
