VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, December 07, 2009, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Vivian Rogers, 92, who passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Rev. Keenan W. Brown, Pastor of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, will conduct the services. Readers will be Kevin Bruce and Donovan Mayer. Gift bearers are Margaret Bruce and Gale Mayer. Vivian was a Senior Companion, a member of the VFW and the Ladies Altar Society. She loved being outdoors caring for her flowers, cooking, sewing, spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Bruce (Charlie) of Breaux Bridge and Gale Mayer (Ralph) of Arnaudville; her 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Clement and Lelia Bergeron Boudreaux; her husband, Claby Rogers; her daughter, Yvonne Quebedeaux; her son, Stephen Quebedeaux; her brothers, Cleveland, John and Ledel Boudreaux; her sisters, Inez Thibodeaux, Lillian Huval, Oline LeBlanc and Aline Wiltz; and her former husband Gerard Quebedeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2009 and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be John Mayer, Donovan Mayer, Kevin Pontiff, Chris Pontiff, Tim Pontiff and Shawn Angelle. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Bruce and Ralph Mayer. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
