Vorena Ann Degeyter Boyer

Breaux Bridge - A private service will be held for the immediate family of Vorena Ann Boyer, 65, who passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. Vorena was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was kind and compassionate and loved caring for people. Vorena enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking, and loved being outdoors and working in her flowerbeds. A devout Catholic, she was a member of The Cursillo's Movement. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry James Boyer; daughter, April Boyer of Breaux Bridge; sons, Adam Michael Boyer (Brittany) of Breaux Bridge, and Alex Mitchell Boyer (Chelsea Mouton) of Parks; grandchild, Theodora Rose Boyer; brother, James Degeyter (Sharleen) of Breaux Bridge; and sister, Janice Delahoussaye She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Degeyter and Lillian Theriot Degeyter.
