The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
Rev. Eugene Tremie will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Readers will be Shelley Legnon and Laurie Hebert. Gift Bearers will be Sandra Lancon and Gracie Hebert.
Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville.
Mr. Hebert was born on December 10, 1949 to Mrs. Agnes Landry Hebert and the late Wallace J. Hebert, Sr. He proudly served his country in the army and was a member of the American Legion in Jeanerette. Mr. Hebert was faithful catholic and attended his Holy Hour at the Adoration Chapel in Loureauville weekly.
He is survived by his son, Michael Hebert of Bandon, OR; mother, Agnes Hebert of Lydia; sisters, Gracie Hebert and husband Kirby of New Iberia, Sandra Lancon and husband Leonard of New Iberia, LA; brothers, Phillip Hebert of Breaux Bridge, Rory Hebert and wife Laurie of New Iberia, and Lucien Hebert of New Iberia; grandson, Brayden Hebert-Alexander of Bandon, OR; granddaughter, Sayge Hebert-Alexander of Bandon, OR; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Wallace J. Hebert, Sr.; sister-in-law, Sherry Hebert, paternal grandparents, Lucien Hebert and Marie Hebert; maternal grandparents, Caliste Landry and Eva Landry.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hebert, Devin Legnon, Noah Legnon, Kirby Hebert II, Seth Hebert,and Jeremy Lancon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Micah Legnon, Quentin Hebert, and Jagger Lancon.
