Parks - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, July 16, 2007, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Wallace Joseph Narcisse, Sr., 68, who died on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Bryce Sibley, will conduct the services.
Mr. Narcisse was a successful recipient of a heart transplant 15 years ago. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports, particularly, the Los Angeles Lakers, St. Louis Rams, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. ?
Survivors include his wife, Renella Washington Narcisse, of Parks; three sons, Wallace Narcisse, Jr. and his wife, Sheryll, of Breaux Bridge, Jonathan Narcisse, Sr. and his wife, Theresa, of Fort Polk, and Curtis Payne, Sr. and his wife, Mary, of Parks; four daughters, Angela Randle and her husband, Gregory, of Parks, Melissa Wiltz and her husband, Vincent, Dedra Borel and her husband, Darold, all of Breaux Bridge, and Stephanie Johnson and her fianc?, Karl, of Port Arthur, TX; two brothers, Walter Narcisse, Sr., of St. Martinville and Warren Narcisse, Sr., of Port Arthur, TX; and 18 grandchildren, Bianca Narcisse, Meghan Narcisse, Mariah Narcisse, Jonathan Narcisse, Jr., Alexis Randle, Gregory Randle, Jr., Darold Borel, Jr., Destiny Borel, Darius Borel, Brandon Johnson, Justin Jones, Jamila Harness, Tremaine Payne, Curtis Payne, Jr., Jaquan Payne, Brandon Payne, Tasha Thibodeaux, and Wendell Ceasar.
He was preceded in death by his, parents, Paul D. and Agnes Wiltz Narcisse; one sister, Margaret Payne; and two brothers, Paul Narcisse, Sr. and Wonest Narcisse.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Louis Chapel from 7:30 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service.
