Walter Sr. Bonin

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville for Walter Jean Batiste Bonin, 63, who died Thursday, July 21, 2005 at University Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. Mr. Bonin was a member of the L.C.P.A. Coop. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Bonin of Coteau Holmes; his sons, Mark Trimble and his wife, Laurie and Walter "Wally" Bonin, Jr., all of Coteau Holmes; his daughters, Laurie Warf and her husband, Brad of Catahoula, and Jaime Landry and her husband, Bobby of St. Martinville; his brothers, Ozaire Bonin and Nelson Bonin; his sister, Ruby Smith, all of Bayou Portage; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Rita Barrilleaux Bonin. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:30 PM ~ 10:00 PM on Saturday and continue at 8:00 AM on Sunday until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
