Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Wanda Jane Broussard Castille, 66, who passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012. Fr. Donald Pousson will officiate at the service. Wanda was dedicated to the art and craft of doll making, creating numerous awe-inspiring dolls over the years and other ceramic pieces, as well. She had an eye for beauty and loved decorating a tree in her home for every holiday in the year. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard J. Castille; three sons, Shane Castille, Brock (Jenny) Castille, and Ricky (Phillis) Castille; two brothers, Toby Broussard and Ray (Chris) Broussard; two sisters, Alice Broussard and Bonnie Eldrige; and four grandchildren, Julia Nicole Castille, Courtney Castille, Madison Castille, and Sydney Castille. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Hilda Zimmerman Broussard; and her brother in law, Barry Eldrige. Pellerin Funeral Home , (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
