Warren Lee Dupoy

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 19, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Warren Lee Dupoy, 68, who passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his family. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm on Thursday, by Wildie Roberts.. Rev. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Warren enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, farming and riding in the sugar cane fields. Although working in the cane fields was hard work, riding in the late evenings gave him peace of mind and a stillness in his heart. Warren will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Chistine Champagne Dupoy; daughters, Francine Dupoy and companion, Kirklund of Lafayette and Raylene Dupoy Choplin and husband Timothy of Breaux Bridge; grandchildren, Timothy Choplin Jr. and Lyndsie Choplin; and his sister, Gladys Lasseigne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Lorena Broussard Dupoy. Pallbearers will be Timothy Choplin, Kirklund Sais, Thimothy Choplin Jr., Johnny Bonin, Gregory Chastant, and Ricky Champagne.
