Warren Leon

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Warren Joseph Leon, 62, who passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Father Augustinus Seran, SVD, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Warren was one of the charter members of Civitan, which he had been a member of for 5 years, and he attended the ARC of St. Martin for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching sports and listening to Zydeco music. Survivors include his brother, Ronald Leon (Tommie), of Houston, TX; and three sisters, Rosa Granville, of Houston, TX, Martha Leon, of St. Martinville, and Angela Leon, of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilda Clement and Joseph Broussard Leon; and his brother, Walter Leon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7a.m until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
