Warren "Boy" Malveaux

St. Martinville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Warren "Boy" J. Malveaux, 82, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette.

A visitation will take place at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville on Saturday from 7:00 am until the time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am on Saturday. 

Readers will be Misha Guidry, Aayanna Neveu, Alayasia Neveu, and Monica Zeno Beavers. Gift bearers will be Carter Livingston, Malay Nelson and Amori Malveaux. 

Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. 

Warren, known to his family and friends as, "Boy," was born on May 12, 1941, in St. Martinville. He was a humble man who carved a life filled with love, devotion, and hard work. He had a life-long, fulfilling career in the oilfield as a driller. Boy loved to fish and play Bourre with his brothers. He was friendly with everyone and loved making them laugh. Above all, he was the most devoted and loving father. His love for his family, especially his children, knew no bounds. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Thaddeus Malveaux, Schanta Malveaux (Roy Arrington), Tyranneus Malveaux, Tanyia Livingston (Michael), Lashana "Nikki" Malveaux and Stacey Molinski (Samuel); siblings, Ernest Malveaux, Clifton Malveaux (Marlene), LJ Malveaux (Beverly) and Mary Ann Jones; grandchildren, Devin, Isiah, Blake, Dion, Misha, Aayanna, Zion, Alayasia, Ronelle, Jr., Carter, Amori, Samuel, Sarah and Sophia; 11 great grandchildren; and his companion of 26 years, Brenda Savoy. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Malveaux, Sr. and Georgianna Mallery Malveaux; wife, Cecilia Stewart Malveaux; brothers, Russell Malveaux and Frank Malveaux, Jr.; sister, Rose Matthews; sisters-in-law, Edith Malveaux and Madeline Malveaux. 

Pallbearers will be Blake Perrodin, Dion Malveaux, Zion Malveaux, Ronelle Porter, Jr., Carter Livingston, and Michael Livingston.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thaddeus Malveaux, Tyranneus Malveaux, Ernest Malveaux, Clifton Malveaux, LJ Malveaux, Roy Arrington and Isiah Porter.
