New Iberia - Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Warren Paul Hulin, Sr., 96, who passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, in New Iberia.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Friday. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant.
Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.
Mr. Hulin was born on December 19, 1918 in Vermilion Parish to Edie and Edith Bouquet Hulin, and was a longtime resident of Iberia Parish. He worked as a rig builder and also as a Iron Worker. An avid New Orleans Saints fan, Mr. Hulin was a season ticket holder for 28 years. He was a member of the Iron Workers Local 623, and he enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Vicki Murdock and husband Thomas of New Iberia, Sharon Goelzer of Pensocola, FL, Edith Hulin of New Iberia, Janet Tucker and husband William of New Iberia, Warren Hulin, Jr. and wife Lisa of Loreauville, Pamela Romero and husband Craig of New Iberia, Cynthia Armand and husband Russell of Coteau, Patricia Hulin of California, Don Patrick Hulin and wife Melissa of New Iberia, Kevin Hulin and wife Vanessa of Carencro; 29 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee Hulin; son, Christopher Hulin; brothers, Gordon Hulin, and Chester Hulin; sons-in-law, Kenneth Goelzer, Harold Landry, and Paul St.Blanc; and a grandson, Elliott Armand.
