Waver Taylor Benoit

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 6, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Waver Taylor "Mom" R. Benoit, 79, who died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at her residence in Church Point. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include her sons, Felix Richard, Jr and his wife, Jaquline of Henderson, Jerry Richard and his wife, Samantha of Henderson, Ronald Richard Sr and his wife, Sandra of Sunset, and Roderick "Joe" Richard of Bayou Benoit; her daughters, Lou Ella Guillory and her husband, James of Lawtell, Loritta Guidroz of Port Barre, Irene Price and her husband Charles (Chuck) of Branch, and Mary Laverne, who was also her caregiver, and her husband Leo of Church Point; her brothers Reo Taylor and his wife Jane and Regis Taylor all of Arnaudville, 46 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, her step-daughters, Patricia Stelly and her husband, Ronald of Leonville, Mary Trener and her husband, Bill of Shreveport, Sandra French and her husband, Jimmy of Pierre Part, and Janice Benoit of Shreveport, and her stepson Wayne Kinch and his wife, Cindy of Morring Sport. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Felix Richard, Sr, her 2nd husband, Ira Benoit, her parents Jerome and Aurelia Guilbeau Taylor, 1 grandchild, Larry Andrus, Jr, 1 great-grandchild, Cordyn Tunstall, her son-in-law, Harold Guidroz, her brother, Jerome Taylor, Jr and her sister Genevieve Degeyter. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 5, 2005 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday Pellerin Funeral Homes of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
