New Iberia - Wendy Price, a hard worker known for her determination and resilience, passed away on January 16, 2024, in New Iberia, Louisiana at the age of 58. She was born on January 6, 1966, in Denton, Texas.
Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home.
Private inurnment will be at a later date.
Wendy's life was a testament to her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to her family. Throughout her career, Wendy ventured into various occupations that showcased her versatility and tenacity. From being a truck dispatcher to a contractor and even a title searcher in Texas, she proved time and again that she could handle any challenge thrown her way. Her dedication and passion for her work were admired by all who knew her.
One of Wendy's greatest joys in life was traveling with her beloved husband, Byron. Together, they embarked on numerous adventures, exploring different corners of the world and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Whether it was discovering hidden gems in their own country or venturing overseas to experience different cultures, Wendy embraced every opportunity to broaden her horizons.
Despite her busy schedule, Wendy also loved fishing, but she cherished family time above all else. She deeply valued the moments spent with loved ones and made sure to prioritize their happiness and well-being. Her warm smile and contagious laughter could light up any room, making gatherings even more special.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband, Byron Price; father, Lawrence Geuea; children, Stephen Russell Adams, Randi Dawn Adams, Christopher Adams (Suzanne), Rhianna Halsted, and Roxanna Halstead; stepdaughter, Trisha Summers (Ryan); sisters, Shelly Harmon (Randall) and Amy Sellers; grandchildren, Taylor, Ezabell and Abagale Zumwalt, Willow and Eddie Taylor, Destiney and Emmett Adams, and Blake Summers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Roxanna Faye Geuea Williams; stepfather, Stephen Frank; and a grandson, Noah Adams.
Wendy's passing leaves behind a void that can never be filled. May she rest in peace.
