Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Weston Singleton, Sr., 77, who died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in Beaumont, TX. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Myrtle Frederick Singleton of Cecilia; his sons, Harold Singleton and his wife, Judy, Henry Singleton and his wife, Helen, and Weston Singleton, Jr. and his wife, Lyia; his daughter, Lou Anna Singleton Matthews, all of Cecilia; his sister, Eula S. Barras of Houston, TX; his mother-in-law, Edna ""Mommit"" Jean-Batiste Frederick of Cecilia; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Israel and Pauline Calais Singleton; 2 sisters; and 10 brothers. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
