Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Wilbur James Tee Judice, 82, who passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2009 at his residence in Lafayette.
Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Lafayette.
Minister Otha Smith, with the Church of Christ in Lafayette, will officiate the services.
A native of Judice, Louisiana and resident of Lafayette for most of his life, Mr. Judice was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He was employed as a bartender for many years at BooBoos Night Club and Chateau Rouge, and also worked for D.D. LeBlanc as a house mover until his retirement. He enjoyed entertaining, cutting up with family and friends and spending time at Als grocery visiting with his buddies. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughter, Denise Johnson and her husband, Elby of Lafayette; his son, Randy Judice and his wife, Patty of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Kristi Judice, Robin Judice, Ronald Judice, Sr., David Judice, Coby Judice and Cheyanne Judice; his great grandchildren, Kara, Skyla, Kyhia, Deondre, Isaiah, Jakyia, Ronald Jr. and Marie Judice; and his sisters, Verlie Daigle, Goldie Daigle and Ruth Saloom.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beatrice LeBlanc Judice; his parents, Charles and Mary Hernandez Judice; his sister, Lona Perkins; his brother Murphy Judice; and his great grandchild, Kyla Judice.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Judice, Sr., Coby Judice, Larry Hulin, Kevin Daigle, Steve Daigle and Eddie Landry.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Judice and John Benoit.
