Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 5, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Wilfred "Pie" Demouchet, also known to many as "Che-Che", 75, who died Friday, April 29, 2005 at his residence in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Demouchet was a painter at Domingue Motors in Breaux Bridge for over 30 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelia Ann Maiben and her husband, Earl of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Lester Demouchet and James Edward Demouchet, and his wife, Eva, all of Breaux Bridge; five sisters, Agnes Demouchet of Breaux Bridge, Clara Soularie and her husband, Everette of Houston, TX, Sophie Demouchet Shy, Theresa Demouchet and Linda Ledet and her husband, Will Bradley, all of Breaux Bridge; and his special companion, Dorothy Ledet of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Alexander Demouchet; his parents, Harrison and Mary Williams Demouchet; two brothers, Walter, Sr. and Phillip Demouchet; and one sister, Mable Demouchet.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7 AM on Thursday and continue until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 8 AM Thursday morning.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
