BreauxBridge - Wilfred Pitre, 67, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his residence in Breaux Bridge . Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 , at First United Pentecostal Church in Breaux Bridge . Interment will follow at d'Augereau - Green Cemetery in Breaux Bridge . The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at First United Pentecostal Church, 3454 Main Hwy, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517. Wilfred was a former Pastor of the First Apostolic Church in Brookhaven , Mississippi . He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a craftsman of rustic furniture. Survivors include wife, Verna d' Augereau Pitre of Breaux Bridge; his son, Boisy G. Pitre and his wife, Toni of Opelousas; his daughters, Naomi Beth Pitre and Rebekah Dawn Pitre, both of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Ledo Waven Pitre of Crowley; and two step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Pitre; his mother, Dolly Dupre' and his brother, Gene Autry Pitre. Pallbearers will be Boisy Pitre, Mitch Pitre, Marlin d'Augereau, Allen d'Augereau, Darrell Pitre and Darrell Olivier. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Morrison, Milton d' Augereau, Harry d' Augereau, Harry Johnson, Dirk Soileau, Jerry Delaughter and Ronnie Lacombe. Pellerin Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.
