Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Wilken Gene LeBlanc, 75, who died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at his residence in Fernandina Beach, FL.
Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Mr. LeBlanc was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his son, Bryan Lee LeBlanc and his wife, Kelly of Fernandina Beach, FL; his daughter, Leisha Lynn LeBlanc of Jacksonville, FL; his brother, Joseph R. LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; and two grandchildren, Eric and Matthew LeBlanc, both of Fernandina Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Tina) Kimble LeBlanc; his parents, Arille and Dolie LeBlanc; his brothers, Hilton, Eris, Allen, and Alton LeBlanc; and his sister, Louella Blanchard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Tony Allemond, David Allemond, Johnny Allemond, Shane LeBlanc, Bubba Allemond, and Jim Stewart.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
