William Dunbar Bridger

Breaux Bridge - Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2007, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Breaux Bridge for William Dunbar Bridger, 74, who died on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2007 at Little Rock National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas. William was a member of the American Pool Association. As an Aviation machinest mate, he flew transport planes carring cargo to the South Pole, for Operation Deep Freeze. He loved to travel and tell stories. Survivors include list his wife, Judith MacWhirter Bridger of Breaux Bridge; his son, William Donald Bridger of Dallas, TX and his daughter, Karen Bridger Patin of Breaux Bridge; and his 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wylie and Ruth Gordon Bridger; his brother, Frank Bridger. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
