Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for William Wade Dupuis, Jr. 67, who passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Paul Lefleur, Pastor of St. Bernard Church will conduct the services. Readers will be Donna M. D. Knight and Rowan Elizabeth Knight. Wade was a member of St. Bernard Parish Council, Eucharistic Ministry and Lector. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was involved in Prison Ministry. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Ann Tabor Dupuis of Breaux Bridge; his Sons, William Wade Dupuis III and his wife, Kelley, Francis Michael Dupuis and his wife, Ruthie of Kaneohe, HI, Mark Joseph Dupuis and his wife, Cecelia of Breaux Bridge, Michael James Dupuis and his Fianc, Sherry of Breaux Bridge and Wayne Anthony Dupuis and his wife Dana of Lafayette; his daughter, Donna Marie Dupuis Knight and her husband, Gene of Clarksville, TN; his foster child, Robert Lee Harmon of Dallas, TX; his brother, August Michael Dupuis of Breaux Bridge; his sister, Mary Ann Dupuis Theriot of Breaux Bridge; his granddaughters, Krystin Marie Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Beth Marie Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Rowan Elizabeth Knight of Clarksville, TN, Alaura Gabrielle Oyadomari Dupuis of Kaneohe, HI, Bailey Celeste Dupuis of Lafayette, Kara Ann Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Jeanne Elise Dupuis of Lafayette and Grayson Elizabeth Dupuis of Orlando, FL; his grandsons, Sean Michael Oyadomari Dupuis of Kaneohe, HI, Mark Joseph Dupuis, Jr. of Breaux Bridge, Eugene Paul Knight, III, of Clarksville, TN, Matthew Aaron Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Noah Nathaniel Dupuis of Lafayette, Luke David Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Caemon Ezra Dupuis of Lafayette and William Wade Dupuis IV of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wade Dupuis, Sr. and Marie Patin Dupuis; his maternal grandparents, Albert Patin and Alice Melancon Patin; his Paternal grandparents, Paul Dupuis and Carmelite Thibodeaux Dupuis. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. until time 10 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be William Wade Dupuis III, Francis Michael Dupuis, Mark Joseph Dupuis, Michael James Dupuis, Wayne Anthony Dupuis, Robert Lee Harmon and Gene Knight. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
