William 'Brice' Fitzgerald, Sr.

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for William "Brice" Fitzgerald, Sr., 60, who passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 11:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 7:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. William "Brice" Fitzgerald, Sr. was born in Travis County, Texas to the late Bernice Brice Fitzgerald and Barbara Jean Burk Fitzgerald. After moving to the Acadiana area he graduated from Lafayette High in 1975. After which, he began his long-standing career in the oil and gas industry, as a salesman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Brice loved his family and was always very involved with his children's activities. He often coached baseball, and when he wasn't coaching you could bet he was the loudest one in the crowd cheering on the team. Brice will be remembered as the outgoing, loving and generous guy who never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. His bigger-than-life personality will always bring smiles to those he knew and loved. He is survived by his loving children, William Brice Fitzgerald, Jr. and wife Lindsey, and Falyn Fitzgerald Dupuis both of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Dianna Jean Fitzgerald of Austin, TX; one grandson, Jean-Pierre Dupuis; and three granddaughters, Briley, Brynlee, and Blakely Fitzgerald.
