Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. , on Monday, June 13, 2011 , at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for William John Guidry, 47, who passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Readers will be Kiley Goodie and Brandy Gravouilla. Gift Bearers will be Toni Guidry and Nicole Duhon. William enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, and entertaining everyone in his surrounding. He was always available to help those in need and never met a stranger. He also loved children. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Consuella Marie Guidry of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Leland Guidry and his wife, Sue, Chester Guidry and his wife, Yvonne, Maurice Guidry, Frank Guidry Jr. and his wife, Jackie, Francis Guidry and his wife, Toni, and Russell Guidry and his wife Becky; his sisters, Lena Richard and her husband, Earl, Joyce Guidry, Sylvia Guidry, Aline Broussard and her husband, Bryant, Cathy Meche and her husband, Brian, and Lucy LeBlanc and her husband, Brent. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Guidry, Sr.; his mother, Ella Montet Guidry; his brothers, Jerry Guidry and Ronald Guidry; his niece, Stacey Richard; his great nephew, Caleb J. Robin; and his godchild, Dylon James Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday from 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Chester Guidry, Maurice Guidry, Frank Guidry, Jr., Francis Guidry, Russell Guidry, and Robert Batiste, Jr..
