William Jerry Guidry, Sr.

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for William Jerry Guidry, Sr., 86, who died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include two sons, William Jerry Guidry, Jr. and his wife, Linda D., and Troy Guidry; three daughters, Shena G. Taylor and her husband, Glen, Marquetta Guidry, and Linda G. Huval and her husband, Earl Huval, all of Cecilia; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Angelle Guidry; and his parents, Rene O. and Lucette Hebert Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 and continue until time of service on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Chuck Huval, Dax Guidry, Grady Petry, Alex Serrano, Nick Boudreaux and Sidney J. Guidry, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
