Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 for William Patt Jr., 83, who passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018. Father Neil Pettit will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Crystal Davis and Mary Francis Wiltz. Gift Bearers will be Bronson Patt and Jabarick Sebille, Jr. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mr. Patt, known as the life of the party, enjoyed having a few drinks and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Joseph Daniel Patt and companion Linda Gail Zenon of Cecilia; daughters, Shirley Wiltz and husband Clarence; and Janella Patt both of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Irene Barras and Margaret Patt both of St. Martinville; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Pop Bill" Patt, Sr.; mother, Olivia Bernard Patt; son, Gerald Patt; sisters, Ida Phillips, Lucille Domingue, Eva Davis, Mae Mae Patt, and Alicia Claus; brothers, Henry Patt and Franklin Patt. Pallbearers will be Damon Patt, Trenton Dartez, Jonathon Carter, Joseph Zenon, Joseph Wiltz, and Trelon Dartez. Honorary pallbearers will be Broderick Patt, Troy Dartez, Chad Dartez, Kenya Dartez, and Stephon Barras. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
