New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2011 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for William Thomas Wallis, 64 who died Friday, March 16, 2011 in New Iberia . The Rev. Dr. Caroline Wallis Goddard will officiate. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Hillcrest Cemetery , in Dandridge , TN. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia Born on May 1, 1947 , Bill was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High, and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He later graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette , and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epipany in New Iberia . Survivors include his mother, Josephine Ware Wallis; sister, Caroline Goddard and husband Doug; niece, Catherine Goddard; nephews, Ben Goddard and wife Leigh, and their son, Henley, Douglas Goddard and wife Leanne..
