Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Willie Mae ""Mae-Mae"" Lewis, 62, who died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Willie Mae loved to help other people, save cans and go to the casino. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Chesley Lewis, Sr. of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Chesley Lewis, Jr., Leo Lewis, and James Lewis, all of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Tina Lewis, Lisa Lewis, both of Lafayette, and Roxanne Lewis of Breaux Bridge; her brother, Joseph Sylvester of Breaux Bridge; twenty grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred D. and Leo Sylvester; two daughters, Dianna and Marilyn Lewis; and two brothers, Leroy and Raymond Sylvester. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Carver & Dauterive Street is in charge of arrangements.
