VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 a.m., on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Willis Alexander, Sr., 90, who passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge . Father Kenneth Ogwu will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Survivors include two daughters, Daisy Alexander of Breaux Bridge, and Georgie Alfred and her husband, Joseph Gene, of Carencro; 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Earline Alexander; one son, Willis Alexander, Jr.; three daughters, Willie Mae Alexander, Desgin Alexander, and Priscilla Ann Alfred; two sisters, Eunice Gary and Felicia Joseph; and five brothers, Rufus, Edward, Ernest, Stanley, and Guidroz Alexander. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a .m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. A Rosary will be recited at 8 a .m. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
