One of his greatest passions was squirrel hunting and spending time outdoors. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Tate Dressel; grandchildren, Lori Marks Granger (Doug), Annie Marks Viator (Hank) and Adam Marks; great-grandchildren, Corbin Thibodeaux, Andrew Marks, Hailey Viator, Heidi Viator and Logan Granger; sisters, Louella Knott and Bertha Wilks (John); and brothers, J.L. Tate and Nelson Joseph Tate (Randie).
