Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Yola Sampy Session, 70, who died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Mrs. Session was a retired Headstart teacher. ?She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Knights of Peter Claver.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Session of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Linda Bruno and her husband, Christopher of Lafayette; five sons, Joseph Dalbert Sampy and his wife, Nadine of Lafayette, Loggis Sampy, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, John Patrick Sampy, Sr. and his wife, Melissa, all of Breaux Bridge, Dary Sampy, Sr. and his wife, Louanna of Lafayette, and Paul Lewis, Sr., and his wife, Julie of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Harry Lewis, Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, June Lewis, Dalton Lewis, both of Beaumont, TX, and James Lewis, Sr. of Milwaukee, WI; seventeen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lewis, Sr. and Aurelia Pete Lewis; her former husband, Loggis Sampy, Sr.; her brothers, Joseph, Albert, Harold, John, Sr., and Henry Lewis; and her sisters, Eunice Noel, Jean Gillium, and Thelma Jones.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
