St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Yvonne B. Guidry, 71, who passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm on Tuesday. Brother Tony Ronsonet will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. Mrs. Guidry was a member of the Vista group with the Diocese of Lafayette. She loved spending time with her Cajun French group, CFVT. During her free time, she enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening and planting flowers, eating and cooking Cajun food, and spending time with her cat, Toby Lee "TeeBoug". She is survived by her son, Bert Guidry, Jr. and wife Kim of Coteau Holmes; daughter, Judith Guidry of Coteau Holmes; brothers, Lucien "Lou" Bonin and wife Elaine, and Loinest Bonin and wife Mildred, all of Coteau Holmes; grandchildren, Brandy Angers, Trey Marceaux, Kourtney Albert and spouse Joshua, Adam Tyler Marceaux, Shelbi Toucheck, Milee Champagne, and McKinzee Champagne; and her great grandchildren, Skylar Everitt, Paxton "Baby Bean" Marceaux, and Averi Grace Albert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Bert Guidry; parents, Julian Bonin and Sophie Boutte Bonin; step mother, Bernadette Bonin; and her godchild, Troy Anthony Bonin. Pallbearers will be Trey Marceaux, Adam Tyler Marceaux, Hunter Mestayer, Lucien "Lou" Bonin, Loinest Bonin, and David Bonin. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Mestayer, Bert Guidry Jr., and Dave Guidry.
