Yvonne Haynes

St. Martinville- Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m. , on Friday, November 12, 2010 , at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Yvonne Boudreaux Haynes, 58, who passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Ocshner Medical Center in New Orleans . Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Msgr. J. Douglas Courville will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Yvonne was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, where she lovingly served as a C.C.D. coordinator and teacher. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her mother, Ruth D. Boudreaux of St. Martinville; two daughters, Allison McLeary and Elizabeth Haynes, both of Baton Rouge; one son, William Haynes of Broussard; and two brothers, Norman J. Boudreaux, Jr. of Broussard, and David Boudreaux of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Ashurst; her father, Norman J. Boudreaux, Sr.; and a brother, Kenneth Boudreaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a .m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2010 and continue at 8 a .m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Cardiac Care Unit at Ocshner Medical Center .
