Zula Guidry Hebert

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Zula Guidry Hebert, 82, who died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia. Mrs. Hebert had 19.65 years of dedication as a food service technician in the Cecilia Schools, and several years as a janitress. She was a member of the St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society. Survivors include her son, Michael Hebert of Lafayette; one brother, Allen Guidry and his wife, Doris of Marrero; two sisters, Bertha Guidry Periou and her husband, Roy of Cecilia and Edith Guidry Windmann of Harahan; one granddaughter, Carolyn Stowe and her husband, Craig; and four great grandchildren, Cheridon Maxine Stowe, Chynna Elizabeth Stowe, Chole Jewel Stowe and Cain Alexander Stowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clopha Hebert; and her parents, Onezime and Celestine Hollier Guidry; her brothers, Lelan Guidry, Donna D. Guidry, and George Guidry; her sister, Alozia C. Mason; her brothers-in-law, Harold Windmann and Louis Mason; and her sister-in-law, Grace Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Mike Hebert, Craig Stowe, Mark Olivier, Ronald Periou, Gary Bordelon, and Brad Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Periou and Allen Guidry. The family would like to extend a thank you to her sitters, Carry Angelle, Mary Celestine, Bertha Gallet, Aline Artigue, Deanna Hardy, Sylvia Lormand, and Judy Poirer. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
